From 25 May 2026, there will be a change in Bratislava regarding the activation of the Security Personal Code, known as BOK, on residence permit cards for foreigners.
Foreign nationals in Bratislava who wish to activate their residence permit card for the use of electronic services will be able to do so only at the Bratislava – Zlaté Piesky Client Centre, located at Studená Street 4/B, in the shopping centre at Zlaté Piesky.
This service will no longer be provided by the Foreign Police Department in Bratislava.
No appointment through the reservation system is required to activate the Security Personal Code, known as BOK.
